Harvest Moon

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is the sign that rules new beginnings. This is the full moon to shed our skins and let go of the past in order to evolve and grow. Mars as the courageous hero and adventurer asks us to let go of the fears that have held us back from reaching our true potential. It is a full moon to consider our journey, our desires and where we need renewal in our life, then to embrace the Arien traits of courage and energy and take the plunge. Are there outdated ways of living that are no longer relevant in our life? It is time to be the rulers of our own lives and take the path to happiness.

As the adage goes, “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.” With Aries ruling new beginnings it is also the full moon of the child and for taking a renewed leap of faith with childlike innocence, a sense of adventure and hope. To see things with fresh, new eyes and wonderment. To learn to live with the complete trust of an infant and to take those first steps while remembering the words of yet another traditional saying, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life”, as the full moon in Aries truly is.

This full moon is the perfect time to embrace life with renewed childlike wonderment and adventure. To send these intentions to the universe; release worries and fears from the past and make a point to heal past pain; have the faith to move forward on the next stage of your life with a sense of playfulness and adventure; to embrace the child that lives within us.

As the harvest moon this year, the full moon in Aries is the perfect moon to harvest the crops of the past and to now sow the seeds for our next new, bigger, better and more plentiful crop. As we sow, so we reap.
